We offer two different garden extending tables in our range, both giving an extra 60cm of length to your table with a simple yet effective mechanism to enlarge them quickly.
Firstly, we have our extending rectangular garden table. In its un-extended form, this particular teak table measures 150cm long and has a width of 80cm, making it a very substantial garden table in its own right. But by simply sliding each half of the table top gently outwards on the sliding mechanism (already installed by our manufacturer), you will reveal a hidden section of table top. This easily unfolds on a butterfly type system, turning with ease to sit perfectly in the middle of the table. All you need to do next is simply slide the two halves of the original teak table top back together and you will now have an extra 60cm section added to the centre of your fixed garden table, as quickly as that! Now measuring a whopping 210cm long and 80cm wide, you will certainly be ready to entertain all members of the family or your friends in comfort and style. Your evening will be so much more enjoyable with everyone sat around your new teak extending table, allowing you all to chat and laugh together long into the night.
The second teak extending table in our range is our square teak extending table. Manufactured from solid teak, like all of our garden furniture, this extending table will make a fantastic addition to any garden or patio area. Our square extending table is 120cm square in its standard form, giving a beautiful square table that is sure to be the talk of all of your friends and family. Again, by simply sliding the two separate halves of the teak table top apart you will reveal a hidden mid-section of the table that simply rotates into place in the centre of the table. Once the two outer halves are pushed back into place, this extra 60cm of table top gives you a beautiful 180cm by 120cm solid teak table, fit for any family or social occasion.
Both of our teak extending tables have a pedestal leg design ensuring that they are both sturdy and strong to cope with any amount of entertaining that you wish to have. As with all of our teak furniture, our extending garden tables are manufactured from solid teak that has been sustainably sourced from Javanese plantations. These plantations are controlled under a strict certification scheme known as an SVLK which ensures the legitimacy of the teak that is used.
